”Where there is a will there’s a way.” So I did it!
What books have most influenced your life?
One of the many books that has influenced me over the years, is Richard Branson autobiography .
What inspired you to start writing?
I love to travel and meet new people, experience new cultures, so i guess I can say traveling to over 50 countries was the start for me and that inspired me to want to share those experiences in order to motivate and hopefully empower my readers.
Tell us about your book ” Sharing Bananas”?
”Sharing Bananas” is a book of dreams, aspirations and taking action. Sharing Bananas, is about human relationships and how we are all connected. It’s about the different experiences I had traveling around the world and highlights some great aspect of humanity I came to discover in the process.
What was the hardest part of writing this book?
English is not my first language. It was very challenging constructing sentences in English. But I’ve always believed that ”where there is a will there’s a way.” So I did it!
What was your favorite chapter to write and why?
My favourite chapter was chapter 2 ”Risk is a Good Thing”. I like that it highlighted some of daring experiences I had and the fact that I did not allow fear to stop me in pursuing my dreams.
Did you learn anything from writing this book and what was it?
So many character building in the process of writing. I learnt to be patient, to forget little annoyances,
tackle the most difficult problems / challenges and emerge victorious.
Are you working on any new project(s)?
I’ve just completed a Banana Recipe Book . Hopefully it should be ready for publication by the end of August 2016.
If you couldn’t be an author, what would your ideal career be?
I love to coach and mentor people especially young adults and women. I also love
to make documentaries on community issues.
